How the FAPR is read
OCR investigators compare two ratios — female athletes ÷ all athletes vs female aid dollars ÷ all aid dollars. A divergence above ~1 percentage point typically triggers a "compliance variance" letter and asks the institution to demonstrate a proportionate offset in the next aid cycle.
